I'm contemplating installling a 4" idler pulley to resolve some slippage issues. Do you think it will fit without modifications?

    Thanks a bunch!

I would try a smaller belt frirst. I am making over 400 rwhp with my S2 and have no issues with slippage. I have had problems before and that was because my belt was too big.

What size of belt are you using? My setup:

'01 S281, Series II Eaton M90, Chicane 66mm pulley, all other pulleys are stock.

Also, do you have an opioion as to belt types? I ask because I have a belt that has diagnolly cut lines in the belt which is supposed to be better for heat dissapation and strength vs. a standard ribbed belt.

    Also, what's your setup? I wouildn't mind making 400rwhp....

    Thanks!

If you are using the stock size belt that is your problem. I have a "Gates" micro V size 1115.

My set up is too long to list. If you are really interested, go to ebay and do a search for item number 4565273618.

Dang! Nice car! We should've got that instead of the Cobra. What's the reserve on the car??
