Since noone else has asked yet, whats everyone's plans for winter?

    Me:Aluminum driveshaft,Steeda Comfort-pro shifter,billet interior pieces,laser jammer

Probably get an HID kit since last summer's upgrade of the tinted headlights has left me wanting for more light output.

    Anyone else???

No plans with mine......she'll just sit in storage till the snow's gone. I might consider a small shot of nitrous as a cooling agent for my blower a little later on down the road, but who knows when that's coming.

    Just ordered:

    - TR6060 6-speed swap kit including s/t shifter, aluminum drive shaft, and crossmember
    - McLeod Street Twin clutch with adjustable slave cylinder,
    - 3.73 rear gears
    - GT-500 trac lock carbon fibre clutch kit
    - FRPP Diff Girdle

Will be doing brakes and suspension this spring as well but haven't made my final selections yet.

Still trying to decide on a forged stroker short block and CNC ported heads with oversize inconel/SS valves and Comp VSR blower grind cams. The engine might wait until next year. Can't decide if I should just do it all now or not.

Are those nitto 555R's? Where did you buy them from and how much? i am also due for new tires, and was thinking about going with the 555rs, what size are they? I have 275's on the rear of my 94GT now, thinking of going with 315s this time, ive read that nittos fit small, so hoping i can squeeze them onto a 9inch rim

Its going to look stupid trying to fit a 315 on a 9"rim.. We tried that with a old bent rim and a worn out 315Dr that i had sitting around just to see what it looked like. I run 275 Nitto 555r's up front on a 17x9 and the fit is pretty much perfect, not to much of a bulge. I can get you pics if you want to see for yourself.

Hey Russ thanks again for hooking me up with a tv and ipod lol. I should of bought a little more while i was in there:p

Back to the OT I guess get my Longtubes, Throttle Body/penlum and put my 4.10s in

Geez it's been a while since I've been in here too. Doing piles of work to the Fox right now.
C6 Tranny with Transbrake ( installed)
    4200 Stall Convertor (installed)
Moser 35 Spline Axels with Spool and 4.10 Gears (installed)
    5 Lug Conversion (installed)
    Recaro Seats (not done yet)
    Traction Bars
    Tranny Cooler
    Hurst Reverse Pattern Shifter
Weld Prostars and Mickey Thompson Drag Radials
    Line Loc
    Three Step

That's about it. Want to install the nitrous system i have but not sure if I'm going to or not. Going to have to see how hard she hits just on motor with the tranny brake first. I'll post some pics. She's still up on blocks so I can finish the trac bar install at my buddies shop.

Yes those are 315's dr's on a 10.5 inch rim. I think they fit just fine, infact they seem a bit bigger than the outgoing Sumitomo's. I'd say that you may be able to fit them on a 9" rim but they'll bulge so bad you'll only get the contact area of the 275,plus they'll wear out faster. I got them from Discount Tire Direct, saved about $100 per tire from getting them in canada. That includes the shipping, taxes and dollar conversion as well.

I'll be getting the car tuned and dynoed, install the springs, pulleys, frame connectors, 315 dr's and probably go with some 3.73's and hit the track at least twice.

    Engine Swap/Rebuild

I've been changing my mind all winter over this one.

Its near time for a engine fix as mine has taken up smokin (still runs fine). It a topless 96 GT, so no PI heads. I'm keepin the car. I've had trannies rebuilt before in saskatoon and its been hit and miss. Buying a 02-04 low mileage wrecker engine with a parts and labour warranty seems to make sense. Could get PI heads and intake and rebuild all(but is most expensive and rebuilds are hit and miss in my experience).

Anyoe have good/bad rebuild or wrecker engine swap experiences to share?

    thanks

    3.73's

I sourced an engine through Best Buy Auto parts in Regina, They can find you pretty much anything you need, but expect to pay top dollar for an newer motor like that. You can read about my expierence with them in my build post, the link is in my Sig

I haven't been on for awhile either. My Mustang is still back in Regina, hoping to get it out to Edmonton this summer. Turning 25 makes for cheaper insurance! How is everyone doing?
