Can anyone help me out with the wiring of an 86 steering column including the wires for iginition and the turn signals. I am trying to adapt an 86 steering column into a 66 mustang. There is a red wire and a balck wire coming from the front of the ignition key area and another black wire behind it. Also, it looks like a wiring harness with 5 wires plugs into the column for the turn signals. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I can't find a wiring schematic for this 86 steering column. By the way, I am trying to adapt this to my 66 for a collapasible steering mechanism instead of the original spear. Thanks

    thanks for posting that

I am still confused what wires go where on the turn signal plug on the steering column plug in. I assume that the 86 has a wiring harness that plugs in here but I dont know what each plug is for. Any help or suggestions
