i was wondering if there are any mechanics and guys that know what there talking about. this is my first 5.0 needs some work but its a project car...i just have a lot of questions and was wondering if anyone got aim instant messanger so i can ask my questions???..u guys might think im wierd but im new to this thing...i know quiet a bit about mustangs..just needs alot of work..and need opinins....so if anyone is intrested hit me up on my aim screen name...thanxs
Yep, that's what I'd have said too. I don't do IMing though (so I dont know how much of a PITA it is). Anything not covered in a search or that's personalized for your car is probably good stuff for a new thread.
Talking about your probablems in a thread may end up helping other people out that may have the same probablem.
I agree. Best bet to do is search for ur answer and if after 10 20 or 30 (depending on ur patience) simply post ur question. There are quite a few on here that know what they are talking about. (me not so much one of them ) I'm a much better parts replacer than diagnosing things.
IMO, I would personally want the opinion of several than just one. I've gotten information from one person here talking one on one, come to find out it was wrong when I thought I'd double check with Tech. You can find a lot of information on 5.0 Mustangs online and what you can't find, feel free to ask us.
yeah, dont limit yourself to just one person's advice. most of the answers here aer based on personal opinion anyhow. not that all of them are wrong, it's just that different people fix a problem different ways according to how they would expect the car to perform.
