This is the interior of another new American car in the same price range as the Mustang (priced between the V6 and GT).

Pontiac G6...not bad as Pontiacs go but I prefer both the new Mustang and my Mazda 6 interior over it. Pontiac interiors look too busy with all the little buttons everywhere.

I like the GTO interior. The G6 seems a bit too busy.

The interior or the 2005 Mustang is by far the best.

    Retro is way cool.

I think BMW was the first to use the red guages. Not sure, though.

Maybe, but Pontiac has been using red dash lighting forever.

It's a nice interior for a Pontiac G6, but I can't see that interior in the new mustang. 05' mustang interior is much better suited for the mustang.

I just got done doing a 3 month dealer training program with the G6. It's actually a good little car. First solid small car GM has built. They finally learned something from the Japanese with this car. The interior is pretty good but I think a GT Mustang owner would be disappointed with the interior of this car over what is currently offered.
The red back lighting in the picture has been computer inhanced, in daylight you can barely see the red.
