Just wondering which x-pipes install without fitment issues. I have been told that the only ones that fit correctly are Bassani and Magnaflow. If anyone has used another brand without any issue, please let me know! Thanks! This is for an 03 Cobra
I went with a Magnaflow myself and it fit perfectly. I haven't heard of any regular fitment issues with any of the major name-brand mid-pipes though. U.M.
i have always used bbk and have never had a fitment problem.. i love the way that they sound/look and how they hold up.. i also have used mac and i like their 3 piece design.. it gives you more adjustments to getting it tucked up on the car better so it doesn't drag.. espically if you lower your cars like i do... hehe
Thanks for the info. I didn't want to buy a 3 or 4 hundred dollar midpipe since I plan on doing headers next year sometime.
I have bbk with no issues.when you ard ready 4 header than u need schooling.i have bbk lt and didnt know trans cant be pulled im on my 3rd tob and header install is a pita.these guys will help better than u can expect.
I had BBK's on my last Mustang. They were nice, but do pose problems with the tranny. I think I am going to either run the Bassani Mid-Lengths or the SLP's
Read and search other post.some of those headers fit stock set ups were u dont need to change xpipe.i got mine new and paid summit price.next time ill go ebay or something else.also i went 2.5 not 3inch.
