Got the o/r x on last night, not 100% sure if I like it yet. Also have a couple of rattles that need to be tracked down today. Also make an odd sound in the cabin of the car. It is def loud and proud though.

With an X Pipe, I'm willing to guess trumpets. That's an unfortunate side effect of x pipes.

My o/r x pipe doesn't "trumpet" or make any weird sounds. It sounds perfect IMO

eh. Is all I can say. I like the sound at idle from the rear, but its a bit too loud in the car, and doesn't sound quite right in the cabin. It sound sick when I'm on it. BUT I think it leaned the car out. I think it sounds like it's pinging, or maybe that's the 'trumpet' sound you guys are talking about. It is a very low volume kinda of a ticking/hollow noise when it's idling. I am running a C&L 87 tune, and the Roush axle-back is actually maganflows with roush stamped on them. Anyone think it could be leaning out? Should I bump up to a higher octane fuel?
