x-pipe

    Does anyone have a sound clip of an x-pipe with stock mufflers?
    I am heading to the local muffler shop pretty soon and he is installing me a magnaflow X to get rid of the stock h pipe and cats. I figured I would be different and money is hard to come by at this point in time, so that leaves me with the stock mufflers. Thanks,Chris

    i don't have any sound clips, but i did run a o/r mac x-pipe with stock cat back for a while and it sounded great.

    i like the sound of the stock mufflers better than most aftermarket mufflers.

    although after my h/c swap i did change out the cat back and picked up 25rwhp--dyno proven.

    i bought the edelbrock performer catback. i like it alot. however i wish i would have gotten magnapacks, race bullets, etc..

    i recently had to swap out the x-pipe(3 piece mac did not fit) for an h when i did my t56 conversion and i will be back in the market for another x.

    Thats cool, I am thinking about going with the magnapacks too later down the road. To me they sound really good. But stock mufflers for now.
