    Congrats.

Been thinking how much I need to buy a house. maybe with this new job I'll be able to swing something but I have high standards for having no money. 3 BR, 2 car garage, some property so the neighbors ain't too close and room for my dog, nice basment for bar and game room. I figure I'll probably only buy 1 house in my life might as well make it what I want. Don't get people telling me oh you can buy a starter home and sell it in a few years that don't make any sense

First home? I just graduated and now I'm realizing the need to save money to buy a home. It kinda depressing though because I starter home in my area thats anywhere near decent is at least $230k. I'm hoping the save about $30k, buy a home, and then rent the extra rooms to my friends to help with the mortage for a couple years. Just an idea though, I'm not sure how it will work out. But congradulations!! Enjoy it and throw a massive kegger to break the **** in, just kidding!

very true, im a realtor here in cali and the best deal i could find for myself was 597.000 for 3 br. 1bath and a "small" 2 car garage and even then it already has multiple offers on it, will probably sell for like 610.000 or so i think so cali people get raped on property.

i dont have any pics developed yet. this house was in very rough condition, it was built in 97 but never finished and what was finished was so dirty. husband and wife got divorced, wife moved back in with boyfriend, knew they were getting evicted and just let the animals do as they please. we bought it for 90,000 and it was appraised for 125,000 and when im done will push 160,000. i would love to sell and make some money but i dont think the little lady is going to let me.
