I took a good look under the car today and it has a lot of extra bracing welded under there. The subframe connectors are about the same size as the subframes and are welded smooth from front to back. The bar that is connected to the seat bolts is welded and it has another brace welded near the back of the subframe con. All of the holes in the engine compartment were welded and smoothed out.
The original trans mounts have been ground down and new ones were welded, I think closer towards the front of the car. Anyone know why this was done? Is this something that has to be done when you use a tremec TKO trans?
If I can find a rough coupe to cut the rear section from soon then I'll try fixing it. I have a few friends that have worked at body shops that would help me out.
