Buddy of mine said he had a pc of mirrored lexan for me if I wanted an underhood mirror. I figued hell, why not, it's free and he even offered to cut to size for me. I attempted to install with industrial velcro but there was too much contour to the underside of the hood to hold in place without tearing away from the hood. My second attempt came after a little math to determine hood/sheet thickness and screw lenght...math was good but I didn't account for hitting a soft spot in the glass hood when attempting to spot for one of the screw pilot holes. Sure the mirrored pc was free but now I had to call in a huge favor to REPAINT the whole damn hood....I should never be left with sharp objects :(

First pic is the wonderful new 1/8 ventilation hole I created...second pick is just to show why I decided to drill through the damn hood:(

DMAN your car is so nice under the hood it always makes me sad that mine is not so. I'm proud to know something I sold you now sits in that sick looking engine bay.

Like I said before Fast...digital cameras do wonders for hiding things, she aint perfect by miles but she's very photogenic which I like. Fact is she's a work in progress and the 'to be addressed' list is as long as anyone elses, and flaws... you don't have to look to hard to seem, but thanks again for the good words. Oh and one more thanks for the inlet pipe, was an absolute pleasure dealing with ya :)

The odd shape of the underhood is the problem he ran into. Likely not enough grip in any one spot enough to safely hold it on there. I had some 3M tape holding my gauge pod on the A-pillar before, and it kept letting go. It pissed me off.
