I see this at the track all the time....the V8 always wins....unless it severely spins the tires and even then it barely looses. Remember the V6 doesn't have torque....real life is at the tracks....not you-tube.
p.s. sounds like a blender going down the road....that's part of the reason you don't compare v6 to the gt.
In a drag race, the old V8 wins. The superior torque launches it much better than a 2011 V6 can do.
On a road course, the 2011 V6 probably wins. With the V6 Performance Package, the 2011 V6 as the 2011 GT suspension/tires, and once wound up, the new V6 can match the old V8 for power, particularly with the new 6-speed transmissions.
