I traded my old 95 in for this car. It's a 2012 Kona Blue Mustang GT Premium M6. For now it has 3.31 gears and no options really except for the upgraded leather seats. The Premium option pretty much loads up the car with all the goodies and gadgets other than the navigation system.

The car is pretty dirty right now. I'll get all cleaned up this weekend if it's not raining/snowing.

I just picked it up last night so I haven't fully got used to driving it. Still has less than 100 miles on odo right now. I got on it a little this morning and the new 5.0 just keeps pulling up redline. It's so much fun, and it's so smooth too.

sigh. another one bits the dust.

i guess it's time to update your sig.

did you get a decent discount? around here, they are offering incentives to move them out to make space for next year's models.

a co-worker almost bought one the other day, but the dealer mentioned the upgrades planned for next year, so he decided to wait a couple months.

LOL! At least I didn't go with my other option I was thinking about.... C5 Z06....

I didn't get an amazing deal on it, but it was decent. Got the $3k cash back and they gave me a fair amount for my old car. Plus 3.69% interest on the loan so my payments aren't bad.

Plans for the car are simple right now. Rims, Brembos, springs, Boss splitter, spoiler(GT/CS?), probably an exhaust and CAI at some point. I want to wait a while before I do anything that might void the warranty. Bone stock it would definitely compete with my old car with the stroker setup, so I don't really need to do a whole lot with it. Not doing anything would be way too boring though. :)

what rims you thinking? we just started selling these charcoal AMR wheels that are basically a rip off of the RTR wheels. they look freakin awesome. i think they would look great on that color.

the boss splitter needs the GT/CS front bumper to work.

Well obviously I'm getting the GT/CS front bumper so I can install the Boss splitter. :) I was looking at the SVE Drift wheels, but I think I like the AMR wheels better. I'm debating between black or chrome wheels now.

Kurt, my next option was going to be a coyote swap into my 95. After thinking about it for a while I decided it was too much money to put back into a 17 year old car. I like the looks of the new Mustangs, but I do wish it was smaller and lighter.

I agree. It's hard to beat having a new car. I'm kicking myself for my last engine. If I had waited another 6 months, I could have had that Coyote motor.

Very nice looking car! I really like the style of them, but also wish they were smaller. I considered a new GT when I was thinking of getting rid of my '95, but it would have had to been my DD being I had that huge payment. I decided to go back to the foxes that Ive loved so much, and then rock an AWD turbo'd Subie for DD. The small payment on the DD allows me to slowly restore my T-top GT, and have two fun cars! Im sure I will own a coyote mustang a few years down the road though, when the price comes down.

Thanks everyone!
I figured up between my trade in and my old parts that I sold, I got $12k out of my old car. That makes for a nice down payment. :) If you want a laugh, check out the ad for my old car on the dealers website, http://myfamilyford.com/preowned-inventory/1995_Ford_Mustang_Marietta_1FALP42T6SF156654.aspx .

I still consider my Jeep as my DD, but it's about 50/50 right now. I don't want to put a ton of miles on the stang, but I need to get it broke in and ready for the track. I'm right around 1500 miles on it now.

Here's some more pics.
