there's a few links to other threads/forums in there too... some good info.

I am waiting for them to get the new wheels which have the CORRECT offset, but yes I am salivating over them myself.
So i read all these threads and am trying to figure out what needs spacing? The calipers need the spacers to clear the rim? sorry if this is a dumb question.

oh yeah, you have a tungsten gray stang also, are u gonna go chrome or maybe anthracites?

Answer

Looks like the spacers are used to clear the brake calipers.
The manufactured these with the wrong offset and seems like
Mustang Tuning is going to correct the issue with a new set of 18"
Bullitts. I'll wait until they release the new ones.

I think am going to go with Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 285/35YR18

I understand that they are in, but there was some discrepancy with the number they were invoiced for....therefore they are not releasing them? What are everyones thoughts on going 10" width tires all the way around? Does anyone have any photos of this? How about clearance? Would the tire be outside of the fender?

Yeah I'm going to go with chrome. I wish they were available in polished because I think those look better, but the polished deep dish seems to only be available for the 94-04's.

Actually I wish I could get the 10" deep dish in the rear and the REGULAR 18x9" in the front like 2003gt has all around on his.

18" bullits

I just put on 18" bullitts deep dish rims from my 02 gt on 2006 gt 18x9 front with 265/30/18 and 18x10.5 on back with 285/30/18 and put on eibach sportline springs front rims fit right but on back they are sticking out bout half inch looks good to me

We have a container of the new offset wheels on the way to us. ETA 3 weeks. Its taking longer than expected because the manufacturer somehow "forgot" to order another container with those wheels on it.

/me shakes head.

I just put on my 2005 18X9 black deep dish bullitts front and rear from mustang tuning I ordered these on 12/19/05 and was told I would need the 1/4 inch spacer in the front only which they did not supply like the website advertises. Well I discovered today that I needed the 1/4 inch spacer on all four corners because every wheel in the 18X9 front and back would hit the calipers.

If they are trying to correct this because the manufacture messed up on the offset then they obviously sent me a set of four 18X9 of the old messed up offset.

But the problem was resolved with putting the 1/4 inch spacer on both the front and rear wheels application. I went with 18x35x275 all the way around with Nitto NT01 for my open tracking racing that I do. The offset is still not perfect in the rear with the 18X9 and having to use the 1/4 inch spacer the wheels tend to stick out on the top about a 1/4 of an inch go figure. So in my experience when Mustang Tuning tells you that you only need the 1/4 inch spacer on the front that's not necessarily true they hit the calipers in the rear also.

Hope this information helps any future deep dish 2005 buyers.
