What all are you running for stereo setups? I've got a 66 coupe and i'm in the prossess of redoing/customizing the inside and am looking for ideas on stereo and intereor ideas too

I'm copying the rear seat divider in plywood and bolting a box to that, and a pair of Dayton Hi-Fi 12s.
Custom Auto ***** is more like it, a nice 1 year lifespan while sounding possibly worse than the 1966 original. Don't do it.Subscribing. Looking for some options to fit the stock dash opening in a 66. Been looking at the Custom Auto Sound stuff, but seems expensive for what you get.
Another option is if you don't care for radio or CD, do a search, there are people who have hooked up an iPod/MP3 directly to amps.
the sides are cut to the concave countour of the dash.Theres 2 tabs on the dash with holes that were used to secure the glovebox so the sides are screwed there.I used 1/2 MDF and covered it in black tweed that matched my interior. The face is big enough to mount the stereo and a 1/2 din EQ.Hey. love the ideas also.
Question for ISKWEZM
How do you get that stereo to stay in the glove box? is there some sort of kit? is it a piece of wood that you used to set it up?
I just like the idea a lot and would like some more info!! thanks
