I had a small piece of plastic bag melt on one of my pipes so I figured it would be a good time to pull the cat-back off and clean it up a little more.

Here's how it came out.

Very nice job. Shiney. :D
I know what it's like to have the plastic bag $hit stuck under the car.
I had a plastic bag stuck between my front rotor and wrapped around my caliper on my truck and that was a bad thing. I pulled out melted plastic like forever and it smelled every time I put the brakes on for 6 months. Then had a bag melt to one of my cats on my mustang and that was horrable as well. Thought the smell was gonna stay forever. I don't like plastic bags.

I hate you Kevin and I mean that in the nicest way possiable :D
Feelings mutual Bill. :rlaugh:

that looks real good want they corrode now though?
No. They are stainless steel.

Damn that looks clean, great work & your car looks sick as usual:hail2:. One of the things many people overlook when washing there stang is the gas tank. Its so visible on our cars that it looks like crap when its not clean. i always clean mine when i wash my car...

+1 I dont do it everytime cause I wash my car 3-4 times a week but the tank does get done once a week :nice: I only do the Termis tank once every couple weeks cause im jealous of that car :(

What kind of product did you use to get those polished up so well? They look great!
I used a wire wheel on my drill to get off the plastic bag. Then I wet-sanded the pipes with 320, 600, 1000, 1500, and 2000. Then I polished it with Mothers Mag Aluminum Polish on a cotton buffing wheel with my drill and followed up with Mothers Billet.

Need to go change my pants now...:jaw:
