I've had Motive gears in all my past Mustangs installed by my mechanic and none of them had gear whine. Mind you, I also had the gear kit installed on all of them as well. Maybe that's why I've never encountered it.

I'll be adding the FRPP cams soon. I'm not too concerned about how much HP they will provide. What I am concerned about is the sound. I LOVE the lope of performace cams. The sound takes me back 6 years ago when I installed my E303 cams in my '93 notch. I really miss that sound.

Just buy a set of FRPP Borla/Stingers and be done with all your exhaust worries. They sound great with an off road h and even better with a high flow catted x pipe. You think spending $300 on exhaust is a lot?... try spending over $2000 like I did. Flowmaster A/T Mac JBA Evols FRPP...

FYI, the Pypes off road h now ships in 4 pieces instead of 2 when they first came out. This cuts down on the shipping costs but a PITA to put together with more chances of exhaust leaks.

You can fit up to a 315 on a 10" rim. I opted for 295's since they clear the wheel well lip.
