thats strange then that scarebird doesnt aknowledge any issue with using the 74 maverick MC, or why he even recommends that specific MC if it doesnt work.

ya i will post a photo after work.. i used a new distribution block for the front brakes, and ran a proportioning valve out of the MC straight to the rear drums.. could my refurbished MC be bad even though its not leaking at all?

hmm i cant find a trutrac anywhere for an 8in. all i come up with are for 8.8 or 9 :shrug: detroit locker looks promising. i didnt know this but the site says it still provides limited slip on turns. i thought it was a full lock?

i ran into the same problem.. you can get the rotors machined to fit behind the 14's i believe the scarebird conversion does require a machined rotor to fit behind stock size rims as well this is all for a 66 tho

I was just wondering if there was a way to tell the difference between a 289 and a 302 by looking at the complete engine.. my friend recently got ripped off when he bought a 289 thinkin it was a 302.
