factory paint should have clear. Unless it was repainted. my 94 has base, clear so your 95 should as well. But yes be sure to not leave any part of the car exposed when painting, cause overspray will just cause you problems. and the black satin uv protectd should do the trick if you dont want to...

if there is nothing wrong with the yellow that your going to paint over just scuff the paint. then paint. no need for primer. if you want flat black i suggest getting a flat clear to put over it. it will protect the paint.

when you do a 3.8 to 5l swap all you have to do is change the bellhousing on the tranny to fit the 5l so i dont know why the gt tranny wouldnt fit.

try swapping out the main shaft that the clutch assembly mounts to (thats the shaft comming out of the tranny) stock the are alluminum. swap in a steel one and try that. this has happened to me before. chances are that the shaft is bent. good luck

did you check the prestone level. if prestone is full then get it to a mechanic soon. Running your car at that temp will have definite effects on the motor. Could also be head gaskets.

heres a very simple question (which i dont know the answer to). if i drop 2" front and rear will i need a camber kit? Also how much trouble am i in (as per the law) if i swap out the stock steering wheel with the airbag for a racing wheel.

i have a clarion touch screen in my car and what i did was connect the green wire on the back of the radio harness to the same ground for the stereo. green is the universal color but it could be different on yours. mine works all the time. GL

if you plan to polish and wax you should use a soap with no extra additives. So basically any liquid dish soap is good. use the meguires between polishes.

Try to find the PRESTA system. I use it in my shop and it works wonders. Its a 3 step system. First a cutting creme, then a polish, then swirl remover. Never did me wrong
