First, unless it's been repainted, the factory gray in 2004 is not Mineral Grey, it's Dark Shadow Gray. That said, if in fact it IS MG, I think black wheels will look okay as long as they have polished/chrome lips.

I have an MGW in my 02 and absolutely LOVE it. I've only missed a gear because my clutch was out of adjustment. I especially like that it took somewhere around 5" out of the 1-2 throw, but doesn't have a stupid short shaft like some of the Pro 5.0s I've seen.
