More air will not give you more power, the tune does. Whatever you do, tell the tuner so he can adjust the tune for your application.

Without a tune you most likely won't see any power gains.

Using a gasoline with a higher otane than recommended is not "good stuff". Switching can be a problem until the computer re-programs itself. Stick with one octane and stay with it. Anything more than what is suggested is a waste of money. As for your driving habits, no need to let the car...

I agree, or a supercharger. Axlebacks wont get you Hp. A CAI will become useless when you add a supercharger. And if you get gears you might need to change them again with FI. Start with a supercharger (it will come with a CAI and tuner). Then long tube headers, an x-pipe with hi flow cats...

I agree. I had an 01 with the same problem but sold it before i fixed it. I would also check the suspension, too much spring travel can be causing the U-joints to bind. My car would only make the noise when suspension travel was at its greatest. Hard acceleration can cause the nose to come up...

K&N doesn't sell an exact fit for that intake. The connection between the filter and tube is unique and available from Ford only. Remove the filter and look at the opening and you will see what I mean. K&N will try and sell you something but you're on your own trying to get it to fit. It...

I just recently learned of the Corvette torque tube set-up and had some questions. 1. Is the clutch assembly/flywheel still bolted on the engine? 2. What type of shift linkage is used? 3. Is the 6-speed paddle shift a true manual transmission or an auto with manual control?
