    Battery Relocation Ground Opinion

Thanks @jrichker. I was planning on running a ground wire from the body ground back up to the engine block, just didn't know if I could turn the ignition power on to roll down the windows without the engine ground in place yet.

HELP! Cranks but doesn't start, No fuel, No spark

Thanks for your help! I tracked it down to the fusible link coming off the starter solenoid, on the 20ga blue wire that feeds the EEC. It wasn't completely burnt, but enough so when you moved it, everything went haywire. It was tough to trace because it was intermittent, but I finally found it...

HELP! Cranks but doesn't start, No fuel, No spark

Would age alone cause the links to go bad, or do I have a problem somewhere? Are all the links right by the starter solenoid?

HELP! Cranks but doesn't start, No fuel, No spark

I was driving home last night and my car chugged a couple times and died on me. I have no spark, the fuel pump relay is not kicking on, and I'm at a loss. I put in a few known good parts including distributor (with good TFI), ignition coil, ignition switch, EEC relay, and even swapped computers...

    Gear oil in T5?

Nice! I couldn't believe it was in there in the first place! Could be what has been causing some shifting issues lately. I can't wait to drive it with the right fluid, new King Cobra, fly wheel, and Tri-ax! I hope my new rear main doesn't leak...

    Gear oil in T5?

I installed a new clutch on my 89 LX yesterday. As soon as I pulled the driveshaft, I was greeted with that all too familar stench of gear oil. I thought that all T5's required ATF? Seeing most of the work performed by the previous owner, I wouldn't be suprised if he screwed that up too. I got...

    Real Cobra R for $4800?

I saw it in an ad near Raleigh. It said the "factory" cd changer worked great and it had a new top!?

    Snap Crackle Pop

This is normal, to an extent. The exhaust will pop with an off road X or H pipe, especially with turn downs. I have a Bassani X-pipe w/ flows and turn downs, and it pops and carries on quite a bit when I let off. I kinda like it though! If you put pipes on the car it will reduce some of the...

    MAP? BAP???

On a mass air car the BAP (MAP) sensor should not be hooked to vacuum. The port should be left to open air to read the barometric pressure.

    Question...

X2 on welding them in. A bolt can only stop so much flex. You can't beat full length welded in SFC's.

Where can I find a door...

Don't hack up a door to try and make it work, it will probably look like crap. I don't know where you are located, but there are salvage yards that specialize in Mustangs. There is a big one in GA, called MPS. Look around to see if there is one near you.

Heater core... I have to replace mine, but I'm procrastinating till it gets closer to winter. What a PITA!
