    Aod Swap Headers

Thanks! I was looking at the flotechs in Summit and they look like the passenger side will clear easily and a little tweaking on the drivers side should do the trick.

    Aod Swap Headers

I'm swapping an AOD into a 65 Fastback with a 302 in it and was wondering if any of y'all knew of some long tube headers that will clear the trans pan?

    Aftermarket Power Brakes

It's installed in a 68 Coup with a 289, with a very mild cam. The manufacturer (A big name in the industry whose name will remain unmentioned) said I need at least 15" of vacuum. I'm at 4000 ft elevation, 15" of vacuum in drive is not going to happen. Even under deceleration which increases...

    Aftermarket Power Brakes

Has anyone here installed one of the after market power brake set up that uses a single diaphragm 9" booster? I have and I'm not happy with the amount of assist it has. Ford used an 8" dual diaphragm booster, which is like having a single 16" booster. Any feedback would be appreciated.

    Sn95 Parts On A 67

You are opening a huge can of worms that could end up being very costly. The 67 spindles are rear steer and the SN95 spindles are front steer. Anything that is front steer will require a rear sump oil pan. Not sure how the struts can be made to fit without modifying the shock towers. AJE's set...

Been A While Since I've Visited This Sight.

No, I'd end up removing most of the collector flange. I decided to go with a set of shorties before I spent good $$$ on another set of long tube headers. I have a customer with a 67 that has a set of long tube Hooker Headers who wants me to do an AOD swap, but I can't get in touch with him till...

Been A While Since I've Visited This Sight.

I'm building a '68 Mustang It has the original 289. I will be replacing the C-4 with an AOD. I bought some of the modified Tyr-Y Headers from Scott Drake, they will clear the Bell Housing as advertised, but the collectors hit the valve body area of the Transmission. Has anyone in this Forum done...

    Riddle Me This

I have a 90GT that is stock. It has been sitting about 9 months. I bought it real cheep and have been slowly fixing it up in my spare time to sell it. Last night I started it and it was apparently running very lean occasionally popping through the intake and if I held the RPMs around 2000 for a...

    5.0 Fuel Injection

Thanks a lot guys. Or should I say tanks a lot? That set up from Tanks Inc looks pretty slick. It might cost a little more than piecing together a set up, but the ease of installation will save hours of labor.
