What Parts Should I Replace On My 97 Mustang After 188k?

Wow, that's a lot of stuff. I'm not a big car mechanic or nothin, but what I would say is that you can try to replace anything cosmetic on your car. I wouldn't reccomend anything that is vital for the car to function like ball joints or any engine parts. and even if you miss this oppurtunity...

    Subwoofers - Reccomendations?

I saw my buddie's subs in his bug and now i'm interested in putting them in my 98 mustang coup, but I have no idea where to start. I have a guy that can install them, but I was wondering if I could get some reccomendations for some good ones that don't cost too much, and I have no idea what size...

    PLEASE HELP:2001 FORD MUSTANG V6 3.8L

As far as where the temperature sensor's are, here are pictures of mine and where they are on my v6 3.8 '98. I just replaced the switch today because my horsey mobile's previous owner put straight water into the you know what. Well, after new head gaskets and water pump, this is where I'm at...

    PLEASE HELP:2001 FORD MUSTANG V6 3.8L

Oh, oooh, I might be able to help with the a/c problem. One of my mustang's problems was the a/c as well. The fan worked, it just didn't blow cold air. When you turn the ac on, does the one gizmo under the hood engage and begin spinning? It's one of those contraptions along the belt. Anyway, my...

1998 v6 Temp sensor & Temp switch problems, need help please

OK so the sensor I put in wasn't the right one. In fact, I'm thinking the one I put in goes in the second spot. It doesn't have any notches, so it fits into either of the plugs which made it confusing. I bought a second sensor today, which has a cylinder shaped tip, and put it in the spot on the...

    Bullitt Rims

as far as the 17's go, I love mine. I have 17 inch gt rims and it still rides good (and looks better than 16's) You would have to link me to these bullitt rims you're talking about if you wanted my opinion of them. Here's not my actual rims, but this is what they look like...

    anti-freeze leak

Hmm, not sure. there are so many hoses under the hood carrying antifreeze around, and some of those hoses corrode, like mine, when the clamps are on too tight. If I remember right, I think some mechanics have an expensive device that you can point to specific spots under the hood and it can tell...

    Mustang squeaking over bumps

My mustang squeaks in the front, but I think my issue is the ball joints. I wouldn't know what would make your rear wheels squeak.

1998 v6 Temp sensor & Temp switch problems, need help please

It was flushed a while ago. I'm just now putting the new sensors in. I haven't gotten the other one yet so I won't be able to tell if they're working right just yet. My check engine light's still on, and I'm afraid if the sensor's don't work right, they won't turn on the fan when the engine does...

1998 v6 Temp sensor & Temp switch problems, need help please

After the water pump was installed, they flushed the coolant system and burped the system. When I took out the sensor today, I noticed there was antifreeze in there, so it's definitely making contact with the fluid.

1998 v6 Temp sensor & Temp switch problems, need help please

Hi, I'm new to this forum. My poor horsey mobile has the check engine light on. I took it to oreily and the diagnostics scan said, "P0125 Insufficient coolant temp for closed loop fuel control." My horsey mobile has a bad history with it's antifreeze system cause the last owner was dumb and put...
