Ok I just got a set of headers for my 76 mustang II Im planning on running duals with either flowmasters or the smaller canister type of mufflers. What do I need in way of crossmembers? What size of pipe will fit comfy? I have 3" left over from my merkur, but not sure if it will fit...

The merkur xr4ti or the thunderbird turbocoupe both have a nice slider cam in them stock that should work well. Ive run all or them including the factory svo cam and the ranger roller with a adjustable cam sprocket, but I think for everyday banging gears the merkur has the hottest cam profile...

MY pinto gets about 18mpg, but thats because of my t3/t4 and my heavy foot :) 340 gears in the 8" MY XR4ti scores between 20-24 depending if i have all the sensors and stuff up to snuff, it was a 400.00 car so somethings always going wrong, but they are easy fix's so I dont bitch too often...

MY 76 that i just got is missing the power steering pump and brackets not sure if the rack is good or not. Will a manual rack fit in its place? I have a spare II pump from a 2.3 are they the same? What 76 vintage ford brackets will inter change? Can anybdy help me on this? Not sure...

I think...........uhm if i remember the 6cy c-4 and the 2.3 c-4 share the same spline shaft just dif bellhouse's. Im not sure if it will work in a v8 without changing the spline. I remember something about that when I put a 6cy c-4 in my turbo-pinto, I changed switched the bells, IM not sure...

My II is a 76 fac air/v8 car, does anybody know if the 90ish stock 5.0 headers will fit? I got a buddy that offered me a set.

Thanks! Yeah the junk yard guy said freeebiie I figured he was a fan of the show, I gotta start watching his crusher pile :) I did buy 2 complete merkur motors/trannys harness and computers from him awhile back, so maybe he was just making things even ....lol

I just scored another II, this one being a factory v8 76, Its kinda rought but its a good start. Will the chin spoiler fit from a cobra II fit on a regular coupe has anybody done this?
