Yeah drop the header and it will come out with ease. I suggest cutting off those ears on the top of the tranny, they are pointless and are left over from the mold. When you put the tranny back in those metal ears are a nighmare. Without them it slides in nicely. Plus, in my eyes, the starter...

I know this is going to start **** but, LT1's are way more challenging than a LS1, those damn LT1's get me everytime however LS1 dont have ****!

I'm not going to lie they give you a rubber bushing to put with your rubber boot, it doesnt get much better than that!

MGW is by far the way to go, just put mine on yesterday and got rid of my hurst short throw.

My A/C Compressor went out the other day. Any comments or suggestions on where to get one or any tricks on changing it. When i turn on the A/C it makes horrible noices and shoots sparks, I'll guess it is seized up, and when it is off the clutch rattles really bad. Any ideas or comments...

I love it! It sounds really really sweet. It is very easy to install and the pipe comes with all studs and nuts. However, once in your O2 sensors and the box part of the pipe are really close to the driveshaft, but nothing has happened yet. I give it :nice: Justin

Is it me or is every T-45 going down. I am taking my tranny apart today. I cannot find a service manual for it so I am winging it, lol. This could be the destruction of my t-45. Oh well I got a new one on the way.

If I am not mistaking isn't the 1999 and the 1996 different T-45? Anyone know... I think the crossmemeber is bolted farther back on the 1999 and the clutch size is different. Someone else know???
