t-45 problems NEED HELP

This happened a couple of nights ago to my 99 Cobra
- I can drive in first and shift into second but it stays in first
- when off it shifts to all gears
- when running it wont shift into any gears other than first
- when off I will put it into third start it and try to go, however it feels like it is locked up
I can drive it in first, but that is it. Please does anyone have any idea what is wrong it just doesn't seem like a completely blown tranny. Any ideas PLEASE!!

does it have a 5.0 in it or are you just posting in all forums. i am guessing your tranny just took a stinky dump. i was thinking maybe bent shift fork but you say it shifts when off and feels like it is locked up when in any gear but 1st.
