That sucks. I love mine. I even have an extra pair that I'll be saving now just in case I need them.

Mach 1000 Audio + NOS Bottle?

Alright thanks. I actually just installed a rear seat delete kit on Sunday from Yellow Mustang Reg. but I want to keep it out of sight. I'll try to fit it between the amps and the RSD kit back board. Since the rear seat isn't in I probably have even more clearence between the backboard and...

Mach 1000 Audio + NOS Bottle?

Has anyone with the Mach 1000 Audio system installed nitrous. My 03 GT has the audio option and I just received a ZEX nitrous kit today. I'm not sure how I'm gonna mount the bottle with the amps and 2 subs already jamming up my trunk. Looks like I may have to sit it sideways parallel to the...

    Good beginning for a GT?

My suggestion for your $500 would be a Pro 5.0 shifter (night and day difference over stock) ,cat back from either Magnaflow or Bassani (Magnaflow is cheaper, Bassani is expensive but may sound a little better), and a Raptor shiftlight. As far as the Steeda clutch adjuster goes, don't get it...

    Disapointed with first 1/4 times

Don't be upset thats really not that bad. I'll bet your losing alot of time trying to slip the clutch and then spinning on top of that. So although most people tell you to do that I found that I get much better times by just blasting right out of the hole. So try this and see what happens...

    Comparison to Mustang

I don't like to bash anyone on these forums, but honestly if you even consider comparing an Accord to a Mustang you need to pick a different hobby!

invisible computer chip at mustang magic

Let Mustang Magic do the tune. It's better than an off the shelf chip cause it's tuned just for your car right there on the dyno, if you car doesn't like the tune for some you reaon you can go right back and have it adjusted without worring about mailing a chip back and forth to whereever you...

    Thanks

    O2 Sensor Question

At about 9000 miles one of my O2 senors went. Now about 1000 miles later the other seems to have burnt out as well. I replaced the first one with a stock Ford replacement, but does anyone else make better aftermarket O2 sensors. I really don't feel like dropping $200 a set every 10,000 miles.

    Royal Purple Motor Oil

I've been using Royal Purple 5W-20 since my GT's first oil change. I can't say if it's better than other synthetics because it's the only one I've ever used, but I can say I'm very happy with it. In the past year and a half I've put a decent amount of miles on the car, over 40 passes down the...

    control arms

I recently installed a set of Pro3i upper RCA's and Pro3i Street lowers RCA's and I'm very happy with them. They were not overpriced, the installation was a breeze, I don't have any clearence problems with the rear sway bar, they're quiet, and the car feels much more solid. Good luck. :nice:

    Pro3i Rear Control Arms

The car definatly feels more solid through turns or even going straight over bumps (or should I say massive potholes : I live in NYC)

    Pro3i Rear Control Arms

I know people are constantly asking about which rear control arms to buy, and I was one of them. But I just installed Pro3i's Lower Street Control Arms & Upper Rear Control Arms and they're great. The install was a snap, they aren't noisy, just driving around I can feel the car is more solid...

    launch...

I found the best way to launch my car is to just sit at the tree at about 1500RPM and when the light goes I just drop the clutch and floor it. The tires instantly start spinning followed by me pulling back on the gas to about 75% or until I hook, then my foot goes right back to the floor. I...

who is ACTUALLY buying an '05 stang ASAP?

I plan on getting one. But my 03 is great and still new. Maybe 2 or 3 years into the bodystyle when the jacked up prices fade away.
