    Bigger Pump And Injectors?

What are your other mods? 255 fuel pump wouldn't be a problem, but I wouldn't put one in unless you need a new fuel pump. 24 lb injectors without a tune will cause problems. I'm not a fan of "calibrated" MAFs as all they really do is trick the system.

Iab /iac Possibly Not Getting Voltage?

Make sure you didn't expand the pins in the electrical connector when testing the circuit. The circuit may be fine now, but the expanded pin doesn't allow for proper continuity to the IAB.

    T-5 Rebuild

The biggest thing with rebuilding the transmission is taking your time and paying attention to how things come apart. Also, don't try to force things. If something isn't moving or sliding correctly, there is a problem. I agree with jrichker, the video is well worth it. You might just spend...

    2.3 - 5.0

Are you trying to find a bell housing to fit the t5 that came with the 2.3? Although you can make the 4-cylinder t5 "work." I won't last very long and won't be very fun to drive using the 4-cylinder transmission. Trust me, I tried it when I did my swap.

    4 Cyl To V8 Conversion

My car is a conversion, but I would probably never buy one. I did mine myself. Looking at all the sweat and blood that I put into it, I wouldn't trust that anyone else would have done the same. Now if it was the right price and I were looking at it as a project car, then I might consider. If...

Who Has A 75mm Throttle Body That Dosnt Whistle?!

I had a 65mm that always whistled. I have a 75mm now and it whistles too. I always thought that was just the nature of the larger TB's. I've just learned to live with it.

Tweeced 5.0 Rich at Top End of MAF Curve

So I just got back to tuning my Mustang and I'm having a hard time getting the top of the MAF curve leaned out. I've got a Pro-M MAF that was supposed to be calibrated for 24 lb injectors, but I've had to lean the curve out to look more like the stock A9L 5.0L curve. At higher flows though, my...

    Overheated TFI module?

I've ran into this problem too. I thought about remote mounting mine and running separate wires but decided not to. Instead, I put heat sink compound on the TFI module. I haven't had any problems since, but I also haven't driven the car very often so it could just be a coincidence.

    Hard to find hardware

Well I tried the dealer and thought I was going to be in luck. Parts guy said he could order them for me. $2 a piece with a minimum order of 4. For $8 I was willing to try it. Well I should have known it was too good to be true. They order me some 6mm fender bolts. Not even close to being...

    Hard to find hardware

Thanks Jonathan, I'll have to try those out. They look like what I need.

    battery

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by "tone out" Are you saying that you have continuity between your positive and negative battery cables? If the battery is disconnected, you shouldn't have continuity between your positive and negative battery cables. Continuity between the two would...

    Hard to find hardware

Haven't tried the dealer. Might stop in tomorrow and check with them but I doubt they will be much help. Didn't want to have to hit the junk yard for these but might have to. I would have thought I could have found some sort of replacements somewhere, but no luck yet. Its funny because I've...

    Hard to find hardware

So I'm working on getting my 88 Mustang LX back together and its finally time to get around to the body. I'm having a hard time trying to find some of the body hardware. I'm looking for the body bolt, stud, whatever you call it that is used to bolt the fender extension to the fender. I've...

2 gauge cable for battery relocation

I would use the 2 guage for the battery relocation. I've got a 1 guage wire that I got for free that I'm using. I don't think the 4 guage is big enough for the power side of the battery relocation. You could use 4 guage to run a dedicated ground back from the block.

    Vaccum Sources under the dash.

4 nuts under the dash. Kinda a pain to get to, but not really that difficult to do.

    AJE K-members and A-arms

I'm running the AJE k-member and tubular a-arms on my stang. I've got the coil-over setup on mine. I run the car on the street and occassionally at the track and it holds up nicely. I actually live pretty close to the guys as AJE so I drove over to their shop to check them out before I bought...

You might run into some issues with the F303 and 1.7's depending on which heads you go with.

    N00b engine swap questions

They make O2 sensor sockets that have a slot in them which makes it easier to remove the O2 sensor. If you aren't going to save it you could just use some pliers or try and break the sensor off. As far as the injectors, why do you want to remove them without removing the upper intake? Are you...

    Power steering pulley HELPP!!!!

Why exactly are you removing the PS pulley? The AC delete kit should just require moving the power steering pump assembly up higher on the head using the new bracket. This is what vehicles without AC had in the first place. Its been a while since I did this to mine, but I don't remember ever...
