Anyone using the Tefba coolent filter ?

I've used the Tefba filter for about 8 years now on 2 Mustangs. It's easy to install & to clean. Just be careful & don't lose the o-ring for the top.

Holley carb question, part # 80457S

Got a good deal on this new carb. I'm running a 302 w/Comp cam XE250h, auto transmission, slighty ported heads (according to p/o of this engine), with roller rockers. The carb had 65 jets, went to 62 jets because it was too rich.(64 jet was what it was suppose to have)I know it's running...

any body ever try this company and disc brake kit?

68dustin, yes stock motors on both. If you decide to go with the R&C kit, you'll need to get a master cylinder, recommend a manual disc/drum for a 74 Maverick, & a prop valve.

Please Help!! Voltage issues or so I think...

The resistor wire is on the ignition switch, I think that it's pink. If if hasn't been bypassed, then I'd do it since you're running electronic ignition.

Please Help!! Voltage issues or so I think...

Quick question for you. Do still have your resistor wire in use or did you bypass it? Reason I'm asking is that I had similiar problems, turned out the resistor wire was getting hot & increasing in resistance. So if you already bypassed it since you have electronic ignition, you might try that...

    hesitation on 302

If you have just a mild 302, then I would think the carb is too big. I run a mild 302 in my 70 & only run an Edelbrock 600 cfm barb, which is more than plenty. JMHO of course.

Thoughts on why I am busting radiators?

Had the same problem on my 66. Ended up taking the new radiator to a radiator shop and had them solder all the seams & connections. So far knock on wood, nor more leaks. And yes, the radiators are being made overseas.

Car stalls and won't start up for a while

Try this, try bypassing the resistor wire on you ignition switch. Since you're running a petronix, they really like 12V. Also check the ignition switch, wiring on switch could be loose or bad. I've got a 66 that had same symptoms as your's. My switch was bad, but so was my resistor wire. It...
