I had my T5 modded to Z specs with a 2.95 gear set. I love it and since I will never have more than 300 hP at the rear wheels I think it will be strong enough. It cost me less than $1,200 installed.

It may be a .62 5th but yes it did all of that. It was pretty cheap compared to a 6 speed or the G-Force .59 gears. With my KC clutch I am in heaven. :SNSign:

No it dont pull at all just locks and smokes! Thinking more rear brake might help. Thanks for the MM update. I talked to them about this and they said the real problem is rear drum brakes as they advise against this mod without going to rear disk brakes.

I woud go with a nice double roller chain unless racing is full time. Gears are very noisey.

Anyone have part numbers for the rear brake cylinders from either Ford or another supplier. I can only find the stock 3/4" bore diameter listed. It seems it is used for both the 9" and 10" rear drums.

My KC has only 500 miles on it along with my rebuilt and regeared tranny but the clutch action is silky smooth and very light compared to my stock GT clutch.
