You'd be supprised what some cobra owners think. I feel the same way that U.M. thinks pretty much in terms of the pistons and in terms of the constant romps of the engine will show some wear and tear its all a matter of time. I've only gotten my car into 5th once while at WOT and it was right...

I had a problem with my T56 from the factory. (Vibration in 6th Gear) They rebuilt it twice then ended up replacing it a day before I could have given the car back. Seems like an isolated incident with the T56 though I just had a bad experience i guess....

Aren't Eclipses Single Turbos? I highly doubt a completely stock Eclipse with only a little more boost is going to run low low 12's...You'll need a few other parts for that even if the engine/drivetrain could handle it with the stock parts...

Catted X and Magnaflows are on the way....didn't want to spend the extra money for a little bit better sound and it seemed like that was the best bang for the buck..... I look at it this way that 500 bucks i saved by not going bassani will pay for a pulley and tune or at least close to it :)...

Its not actually mounted perminatly just a tiny piece of velcro to the antenna and to the fabric just enough to keep it in place.

I respect alot of cars but something about people telling me their car will destroy mine in a race just has this chilling effect on that respect. If you think its faster prove it. Don't sit on the internet going back and fourth on what ifs. Some cars are easier to mod then others. 03...

My transmission had a 6th gear vibration from the factory with 80 miles on it. It was broken down and 6th gears were replaced twice. The day before the lemon law took effect ford overnighted a new T56 in to replace mine but not before. I'm still a bit bitter about it but with 6000 miles now...

Well they offered to pay my car payment for the downtime (1 month) and the transmission finally came in and will be installed tomarrow so I should know by Friday weather i stay part of the cobra club or buy a vette after the lemon law to spite ford....maybe even an SRT :bang:

No new transmission yet....T-56 is on backorder now....and snow is coming I can feel it :( :nonono:

Update again: The Rep isn't going to be here til Thursday the 14th so I get to wait again....and now my Transmission is worst of then it was not only now does it have the 6th gear vibration but it pops whenever I put it in Reverse now :notnice:.....It doesn't feel the same as it used to also...
