TV pressure om AOD with a Holley.

I am removing my intake tomorrow, and I was worried about messing up the throttle valve pressure on my AOD. If I just remove the bracket from the carb (so I get remove the intake) and set it aside without making any adjustments, will I have to re-adjust the TV pressure or should it still be set...

I am buying a 331 shortblock. Would it be gasping for air breathing through Edelbrock Performer 60329 heads, or are they OK? :spot:

    Tips on keeping it cool?

I'm broke. Electric fans and new radiators are not an option. I am changing the oil and coolant, and toping off anything else that needs it. What mixture should I run coolant wise? Does Watter Wetter work? I'm in NYC and it's around 50 now, getting warmer.. It's a daily driver. Thanks. :D

570 or 670 Holley Street Avenger? Tune current one?

I think it's time for a new carb. Either that or a rebuild and some tuning. What do you think would be cheaper: rebuild and tune my carb or buy a Holley Street Avenger? If you go with the latter, what would be better for my setup: 570 or 670? Thanks! mods are as follows: '84 Mustang GT-...

AOD w/ non lock-up 2800 stall: where should it be shifting?

Yes, I had it professionally done. Now that I am used to driving it a little more, the 1-2 is ~3000, 2-3 a little higher (light to light not jammin').

AOD w/ non lock-up 2800 stall: where should it be shifting?

I should be shifting higher?! Whoa.. I'm kind of glad I'm not. How the hell do you drive around with those shift points?

AOD w/ non lock-up 2800 stall: where should it be shifting?

This is my first time driving with the stall. The 1-2 shift is at ~2700. The 2-3 shift is slightly higher at ~2900. Is that right? Maybe I'm just not used to a stalled car. How the hell do you drive around with these things, lol?

    Argh! Roller block?

Well, all this time I thought I had a flat tappet block, being it's an 84. I was talking to the dude who I bought the car from (my neighbor), and he tells me six months later (today) that it is an early 90-something block. Yes! and No! It's cool that I have a roller block, but I had my cam all...
