Would I be choking a 331?

I am buying a 331 shortblock. Would it be gasping for air breathing through Edelbrock Performer 60329 heads, or are they OK?

If youve got them, you could always p&p them later on or get a new set of heads. You really dont have much to lose.

I wouldn't waste money on a p&p job...sell them and get some better heads...or keep them and have a killer low end TQ!

It wouldnt be gasping for air, the 331 is going to be suckin as much CFM down into those cylinders as possible, but with a bigger head, you would definetly see some performance gains.
