Water port on FRPP Intake Gasket

I picked up a set of FRPP intake gaskets M-9439-B302 and I noticed the water ports are restricted (as seen in the pic below). Do I need to cut them out to match my stock ports on the heads and intake? Why are they designed like that?

    Finished 73mm caliper upgrade

No need to swap out the booster. I did the 73mm front TC rear disc with a 95GT MC and stock booster (88 LX 5.0 with stock cam). Pedal is a little firmer but the brakes work fine.

    73MM caliper brake pad ?'s

Know where to get a molded carpet for a fox in montreal?

Don't know about MTL but there's NOS Reproductions in Komoko ON. http://www.nosreproductions.com/ I purchased my carpet for my 88 LX from them and it's a very good product. Shipping should not be expensive. Ask them how much it would cost to ship to your door.

    Replacing Starter

I replaced my old starter a week ago. I first got the front of the car up on jackstands. Next I took 2 10" extensions (1/2" drive), universal joint and a 12 point socket (1/2" I believe). If you have a 6 point socket use that instead. There is almost a straight line just above the steering...
