im about to do a 5spd swap on my 70 coupe. there are lots of websites to help out. just do a search in here and you will get lots of advice.

are you sure i can use bronze? i found a good deal on a distributor and it has a bronze gear on the end and want to make sure it will work.

I dont think they make one for a 69 but i could be wrong.

What did you do to lower it if you dont mind? also what size wheels and tires?

so if i put some 65model 289 heads on my stock 70 short block 302 what compression ratio would i be looking at? what was stock for a 70 302?

not to sound dumb but i take it i can get the ford duraspark dis from ford? i dont have a ditributor at all and this is all that is really holding me up now so im wanting to get it pretty soon.

I am rebuilding the motor in my car and i am needing to buy the igniton parts now. i need a distributor and coil but dont want to spend tons of money. it is basically a stock rebuild so what would be good to use without breaking the bank?
