well fwiw, i got it installed and so far it's lived up to everything it's supposed to do. this is the 1st aftermarket stereo i've ever bought so i don't really have anything to compare to but i'm pretty stoked about it. this is in my wife's truck (03 dodge Ram) so i won't get to mess with it...

then look at getting a used S197 V6 for about $15k, swap in a built/TC'd or SC'd 5.4 and a T56. Put in your suspension and wheels and you'll have a nice daily driver for less than $30k that'll never lose mang!

agreed, but if needed you can drop the drive shaft to give you more room to work. there's 4 bolts at the back-end of the shaft that connect to the pinion flange. just make sure to chalk-mark the yoke and the flange so that when you bolt it back up that it's in the same place.
