A good Cobra friend of mine got his hands on a extrude-honed lower intake manifold from a '98 Cobra that has had the CFM flow increase to 310 and comes with new freeze plugs. This lower manifold had 45k miles on it stock, and only 500 after the work done. He said he saw with his own eyes the previous owner pick up 14rwhp and 17rwhp with this model.

Heres an example of what im talking about on a '99 Cobra. Keep in mind they are more efficient from the factory so gains for the 96-98 Cobra are probably going to be greater.

And heres an extensive graph in RPM incriments of the increase in power it made on this '99 Cobra: http://www.shane.roberts.net/29_34.htm

This peice can easily be sold for $500, but he is a friend and is selling it to me for $300 shipped. Should I go for it? What is ya'lls opinions on this? I am extremely excited about this, becuase its supposed to give meaty power gains that you can feel, not only peak power.

Let me know!!
