A/C hissing/popping from engine

when im driving normally, but sometimes when im idle with the A/C on:

the car makes a "psshhh" noise or a hiss for about a split second, then goes away. sounds like air is being relieved out of the engine or A/C compressor of some sort. i dont ever remember this happening (car is an 04) before and just noticed it now.

any ideas, or have had this problem before i take time out to hit the dealer up for warranty troubleshooting?

A/C compressor clutch engaging/disengaging. Normal.
