What do you all think about this combo for an engine?

complete balanced

Twisted wedge heads that have intake and exhaust ports port matched

Trickflow Stage II camshaft
* Advertised duration: 286 intake/294 exhaust
* Duration at .050 in. lift: 224 intake/232 exhaust
* Gross lift: .542 in. intake/.563 in. exhaust
* Lobe separation: 112 degrees
* RPM range: 2,500 to 6,000

Notched RPM intake

Speed Demon 650 carb

longtubes with 1 3/4" primaries

MSD dist and 6al box

1.7 Cobra Roller Rockers.

Any estimates?


This is all going through a C4 with a 33oo stall, and a 9" with 3.50 gears. I was thinking maybe 350rwhp give or take? In a 2500lb car that should be good for mid 11s with great traction and a nice lil street cruiser without going overboard. What do you all think?

i agree... 350-360rwhp, and should go about 115-118mph in the mid 11's... well tuned of coarse!

My desktop dyno says a peak of 368hp and 318 ft/lbs of torque.

that combo on a 302, with an xe266hr cam made 396 flywheel hp

I dunno, that's just what "Dyno 2000" said, not me. It's just a computer program, it's not real. Nothing says that Dyno 2000's numbers are final in the real world.

I am in the process of building my 347. I sent an email to trick flow telling them what I was looking for. If I go with the track heat heads and intake and a stage 2 cam I would be around 430 hp.Send me a PM If your interested I can forward the email to you that list everything.I also had the engine balanced and the guy was impressed with how light the set up is.
