back up lights on a 67

I am trying to hook up my back up lights on a 67 coupe. It looks like the lights and wires etc... are all good. I dont know where to hook up the wires. Doesnt look like it hooks up to the tranny. I have two wires lying under the console by the shifter that i assume are them but I have no idea where to hook them up...
ANy thoughts?
