Almost done putting on my bullitt intake. Went to put on the bullitt specific alternator today, and the bottom bolt of the alternator towards the passanger side has a vortech spacer sandwhiched between the vortech bracket and the alternator. Problem i'm running into is that the new alternator leg is a bit thicker than the old GT alternator so now the vortech spacer is too long and wont fit. I called vortech and they say the bullitt and GT spacer for that is the same part. well obviously that cant be right. If anybody has a vortech S trim with bullitt intake, what did you do with that spacer?

You mean the silver spacer bewtween the idler and the alternator? Mine is 2" long. It came with the Bullitt kit.
