This things always been here since i bought the car. I have no idea what this is. Any ideas?

Wired external remote for a Passport radar detector. Look around the rear view mirror and visors for wiring that would attach to the detector itself and I bet there may be some tucked up under the headliner.

yea theres an antenna tucked away right behind the rear view mirror, but what confused me is that the thing doesnt turn on. Theres an led on it that never comes on and if you press the button on it, it doesnt do anything. So maybe the previous owner took it out or its just not hooked up anymore. Ill follow the wiring and she if i can discover anything else.
