CG Locks don't fit?

Does anyone on here have experience using CG Locks on the seat belts in our Mustangs? A friend of mine was going to give me some for an upcoming track day but we couldn't get it to fit on the buckle because the plastic was too thick. Any tips for getting them to fit our seat belts?

I have them on my '08 bullitt....

...with no issues. I think they come with 2 different length screws for mounting, one set longer than the other.

You may have the short screws.

They are great for autocross.
