I know this has probably been beat to death, but i couldn't figure out how to search the forums. (duhh) Here's my delemma: seems at least every 6 mo, i get a flat from a nail, screw, or other form of debris common to the roads here in chicago
. Today yet again, this time leaving me with an unrepairable split sidewall. So time for a new set. I am considering ordering a set of fr500 wheels/summitomo htrzII tires from muscle mustangs or late model resto. or just putting new tires on my stock gt rims. who has the htrzII's?, and do you like them?? or any other recommendations for an economical replacment for the originals? I don't want to spend big $$ on tires just to run over more nails.
I plan on parking the stang when the snow flies. (gotta POS jeep for that) so I don't need all season's. Thanks for any input.
