Convertible help

so i have a 98 convertible gt. when it rains i am getting a leak where the bottom right of the rear plastic windshield meets the fabric. im not sure how to go about patching it or fixing it. i dont want to mess anything up with the top lowering mechanism. any suggestions?

i did and i couldnt find anything. there is a elastic rubber strip that seems a little loose but im not sure if this has anything to do with the seal.
