this has been posted but what do u all think a 97 cobra convertible would need to keep up with the same model coupe?

Good driving or maybe just an intake?

What would the difference in weight and 1/4 mile be?

good driving will make it an even race. Get some gears; however, and that will probably give you an edge.

Difference in 1/8 between me [stock Vert] and my friend [stock Coupe] was .2 seconds at our best runs. So verts really are not that much slower. Get some gears and you'll be all set and ready to race those other stocks!

what was ET in the 1/8th ??? ... sorry to dig up this old post just curious. mine was 9.31 in my '96 5-speed. haven't ran my '98 vert yet. thanks.

Mine vert was 9.84 and my friend's coupe was 9.64
