Well I got back last night. Trip was from Miami to Key West then on to Mexico then back to Miami.

My bar tab for four days was only $518 for two people (last time it was $689). The other couple we went with had a $522 tab.

The tab doesn't include what we drank at Key West and Mexico. Also in Mexico we did the ATV excursion. Trails and beachside in Mexico on a four wheeler is incredible. You get dirty as hell but still fun.

All pics taken with my camera phone. I'm way too lazy to lug anything else around.

Where I spent my days. The slide ruled.

Where I spent my nights. Only left the boat $100 down.

The wife made $85 on this spin with $1 slots. The couple we went with walked away with $360 the same night.

Have to have a drink at Sloppy's Joes while in Key West. Its the Law!

Also the Whistle Bar in Key West is Popular. Couldn't even get in Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville during the day.

The suite had a bar, balcony, walk in closet, jacuzzi, couch, etc.

The suite made for good times.

NICE:nice:

The wife and I have been kicking around either a cruise in Alaska, or a resort in Mexico/bahama's as the prices are just getting REALY good. We would go now if we didnt have a trip to the outer banks already paid for and planned the 2nd week in Aug.

I would have to take pics of everything, cause' I wouldnt end up leaving the casino or be sober enough to actually see anything:rlaugh:

Looks like you had some good fun:cheers:

I like how every time you post pics of a cruise or a vacation you have more than half of them including alcohol ;)

it's good to know some things never change :rlaugh:

Ahh, you remember last years vacation pics. Good times....

The boat is Carnival's Imagination Fun Ship. It doesn't have the best food nor is the boat the best looking. It's the Fun Ship where it's goal is to be a party. I did an island cruise 5 years ago with Royal Carribean and it was real classy. It's an older crowd and a lot more money. Next time on doing a Disney Cruise when the kids get older.

Nice pics Joe, I'm glad to see you got the token "beer in the hand while laying on a lounge" shot!

Usually those are the only pics I post. I know it may look like I drink a lot. The truth is I don't drink at home. In fact other then the Bacardi I bought I don't have booz in the house.

When I'm on vacation I may get out of hand a bit. But, when your sitting around, well there's nothing else to do anyway.

I would do a cruise every year if I could. For those thinking about it here is a break down in dollars. Not many people know how much everything costs until your actually on the boat. Let's take this cruise for instance. Its not the best one out there so the tickets weren't that expensive.

Tickets-$858 for two.
Tipping-$125, you have to tip your Room Steward, MatreD, Cleaning people, etc.
Food-$50, On the boat it's free (unless your order room service). Off the boat is where you spend it.
Drinks-$518, On the boat they are not included with anything. Every drink has a 15% gratuity added in. A bottle of water is $3 just for an idea.
Gifts-$100, We spent some money on bringing back the kids stuff plus my Bacardi.
Excursions-$200, We did the ATV Trails of Calico Mexico.

So the total was $1,851

gotta love the duty free liquor:D nice room. mine was like half the size of that. looks like you had a good time. what part of mexico? i went last year. we wanted to go on the atvs but it was all booked. we ended up getting on the dune buggys and still had alot of fun. that was in costa maya. we also went to cozumel, grand cayman, and jamica. for 3 people it was about 5,000. probobly going to book one for the end of the year. going to do the eastern carribean this time.

We went to Calico Mexico. It's under major construction so it was pretty dirty. Cozumel and Cancun are better. Honestly the Carribean is really the way to go. I went to St. Croix, St. Thomas a few years ago and it was extremely beautiful. The boat didn't dock it anchored. A smaller boat would bring the passengers to the island. You walk up and they had steel drum bands playing Marley, people serving you wherever you go. We rented wave runners, did parasailing and water skiing. I'm heading back that way in a few years.
