I was taking out my waterpump tonight and one of the long bolts broke inside. I would imagine it goes through the timing cover, but does it actually thread into the block? I'll try to extract the rest of the bolt out, but I don't know if i'll end up needing to remove the whole cover if I can't get to it too well. It's the bolt that you have to move the tensioner out of the way inorder to access it. So anyway, yea this sucks.

I just did the same thing the other day except its the long one on the other side. Now it looks like Im pulling the motor. This sucks. I have to do other stuff anyways.

place the new one on facing up and as you pull the bolts put them in place....then transfer them back to the old as you mount the new one.....it will keep you from mixing them up................good luck..
