Greetings,

Up for sale is my 1996 Laser Red Metallic(E9) Ford Mustang GT Convertible.

I’ve owned the car for the last 2+ years and have taken METICULOUS care of it. The amount of maintenance that has been done recently alone will easily surpass my asking price. I am selling due to the fact that I just recently bought another car and do not have the room/time for 3 cars.

Runs very strong and feels tight. Body is straight. Drive train is solid and ready for daily driving/weekend fun!

A little about the car:

Very clean black interior with sought after 1998 center console modification. No tears in the seats/ carpet at all. All factory glass and instruments also. Sound system plays great.
Car has plenty of new performance components such as a PI intake manifold(12rwhp increase) and new FRPP plug wires/Denso plugs. The car is sitting on 98 coupe springs without spring isolators, this gets rid of the factory “4x4” look while providing superior comfort and keeping an acceptable ride height. The springs are genuine Ford parts. The rubber insulator on the stock shifter has also been removed to aid in “positive” engagement feel. The paint is very clean with all scratches touched in using original FoMoCo touch-up paint.

The car has an OEM catback with Flowmaster 44 Mufflers welded in.

Below are the items that have been replaced/updated:

• New AC Delco brake pads F+R
• New rear brake calipers
• New parking brake cables
• Front rotors turned/bearings/balljoints/tierods lubricated
• New left inner/outer tie rod
• New KYB GR2 front struts
• New Motorcraft rear shock absorbers
• 98 Coupe springs with no ISO’s
• New Moog front swaybar endlinks
• Motorcraft Syn-Blend 5W-30 oil, changed every 3k miles
• Motorcraft Mercon V transmission fluid changed 4k miles ago
• New Ram HDX Clutch/PP/Throwout Bearing installed 4k miles ago
• New FRPP Nodular Iron Flywheel installed 4k miles ago
• New Steeda adjustable clutch cable
• New UPR Triplehook adjustable clutch quadrant
• New Steeda Firewall clutch adjuster
• New 02 sensors
• New FRPP PI intake manifold(12rwhp increase)
• New Prestone coolant and Duralast waterpump
• New Stant 180 degree thermostat
• New Goodyear HiMiler silicone performance hoses(all 4)
• New Dorman Cooling fan with shroud(updated design)
• New OEM radiator
• New OEM motor mounts(both sides including trans mount)
• Recent alignment
• New Denso Platinum Plugs/ 9MM FRPP plug wires
• Recently cleaned MAF/IAC

As you can see the car has been recently gone through COMPLETELY. All of the things which are commonly known to cause any issues on the 96-98 have either been replaced or updated making this a true turnkey and go mustang!

Below are the only issues that the new owner needs to address to bring this mustang to 110% as I did not have sufficient time to complete them before the sale.

• New top – the current top is in poor shape and will need to be replaced unfortunately, however it goes up and down with NO problems.
• New CD player for the factory MACH 460 sound system
• Perhaps a new OEM clutch cable as the Steeda one does not provide a very smooth feeling(just a matter of preference)
• A set of fog lights as the car currently does not have any.
